By Rob Beiley and Amy Shaw
The new government have made big promises to deliver 1.5m new homes over the next five years, but what will their strategy be in achieving this ambitious target?
There are top level considerations that government need to factor in, from unlocking more land through major planning for reform to how they use different funding streams and models to allow for essential investment in infrastructure. There is a long list of things that are high on the agenda, all underpinned by their pledge to kickstart the economy and net zero targets that will influence everything they do. We take a closer look at the potential impact of what they have planned, discuss some of the options they could explore and analyse what these changes could mean for you.
And it's not just about housebuilding. The government have already stated in their 'new deal for working people' policy that big legislation changes will be implemented within 100 days and we have already started to unpick what this means for businesses and employers.
By analysing the government's plans, we want to demystify any policy and legislation changes that are on the horizon and guide you through step by step, what these changes mean for you and hopefully provide the expert knowledge you need to help you to future proof.
