International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has been granted a licence to operate in Saudi Arabia by the Ministry of Justice and will be opening a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in early November 2025. The launch is part of Trowers' 2030 growth strategy and builds on its longstanding reputation and international business presence across the Middle East.
The firm's Saudi office will be led by Co-Resident Managing Partners Bilal Kahlon and Nasreen Alissa. Bilal Kahlon has been a Partner at Trowers since 2020 and has over 15 years of experience working on Saudi focussed transactions.
With over 15 years of legal experience, Nasreen is Saudi qualified and specialises in corporate and M&A law and has advised both international and Saudi clients on regulatory matters and cross-border investments.
They will be joined by Trowers Partner Moad Giebaly, who is relocating from the UK and will be supported by a team who will offer expertise in corporate, banking and finance, construction, disputes, private wealth and real estate as well as sector expertise in energy, renewables, infrastructure, transport and technology.
