Open for business in 1984, our Exeter office has grown and diversified to become the firm's second largest office.
As the South West office of an international full-service law firm, we are embedded in the local business community whilst being able to seamlessly access the breadth of our national and international experience and specialisms.

We strongly support and participate in the South West's industry groups and campaigns. Including:
Devon and Exeter Chambers of Commerce, South West Business Council, Torbay Business Network, Community Land Association, Agricultural Law Association, Taste of The West, Devon Tourism Awards, and the Devon Farm Business Awards. In addition, with a strong heritage in the built environment, we are committed supporters of a wide range of Real Estate and Construction industries groups.
People and place
We are passionate about our region, enhancing and securing it for future generations, with each member of staff able to use 25 hours annually to contribute to community projects and social impact initiatives.
Our colleagues are passionate about offering support to initiatives that deliver prosperity and celebrate success in our region. Recent examples include:
- Working in partnership with Exeter City Community Trust to support various community wellbeing projects, which have included our social café, sports memories clubs, premier league kicks, lose2win, GROW mentoring and supporting the Exeter River Run raising money for ECCT;
- Working with Exeter University's access to justice clinics and supporting the pathways to law initiatives;
- Launching Pride in Business for local businesses to connect and build relationships in pursuit of a more inclusive and equitable business community, and also in celebration of the achievements, contributions and resilience of LGBTQ+ professionals;
- Participating in Schools outreach programmes and enrichment days including listening to primary school children read and hosting mock trials for secondary school children; and
- Support local projects including positive mental health, donating to charities and food banks and combatting loneliness.
