Rob Wilson

Rob is a member of the Construction Disputes team. He has extensive experience dealing with complex disputes and is dual qualified (England and Wales / Scotland). His wealth of experience covers litigation across the UK, adjudication, expert determination, international arbitration (mainly ICC; LCIA; SIAC) and ADR (acting as both Counsel and as a CEDR Accredited Mediator). Rob has worked closely with the energy and construction sectors for more than 30 years. In the construction sector he has worked with employers, funders, owners, contractors and construction professionals. Claims have related to schools, roads, shopping centres, student accommodation blocks, factories and storage yards, to name but a few. In energy, Rob has extensive expereince from working with the energy sector since 1998. In renewable energy sector he has worked on onshore and offshore wind, solar, hydro and energy from waste plants. In the oil & gas sector (both offshore and onshore) he has worked on disputes in the North Sea, South America, the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and the Far East. Experience has taught him that where a dispute cannot be avoided, the active management of issues at an early stage can benefit a client later in court or in arbitration.
