Annie Drew


Annie is a Trainee Solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins' Planning & Environmental department.

Annie is a fourth-seat trainee within the Planning & Environmental team. Her experience includes negotiating section 106 agreements and advising on a range of statutory agreements, such as Section 278 and Section 104 Agreements. She helps to advise local authorities, registered providers, developers and landowners.

Annie has previously sat in the Employment and Pensions department where she assisted with Employment Tribunal claims involving discrimination, in addition to drafting employment contracts, director's service agreements and settlement agreements. She also assisted advising clients on a range of non-contentious employment issues and day-to-day queries, including disciplinary and grievance matters.

Previous departments include the Real Estate (Investment and Development) department and the Construction Disputes department. She gained experience assisting on a range of commercial real estate transactions involving business and educational sites, and advised on residential housing projects. She also advised on acquisitions and disposals, land registration and new and existing lettings. Within the Construction Disputes department, Annie assisted on claims in the TCC and adjudications, as well as assisting with commercial negotiations and mediations involving issues such as defects, delay, fire safety issues and payment disputes.

Annie is a part of the firm's Social Impact Committee and Disability Network. She also sits as a magistrate within the family court.
