Yuen Phing Choo

Yuen Phing is a Senior Associate at Trowers & Hamlins LLP with a practice focused on the full life cycle of major projects — from structuring and procurement through to delivery, risk management and dispute avoidance.

With expertise in both front-end and back-end construction law, she supports clients throughout the full project life cycle—providing legal input from procurement and contract structuring through to project delivery and risk mitigation. She also regularly assists clients in managing complex situations on their construction projects before formal dispute resolution, helping to resolve issues strategically while preserving relationships and maintaining project momentum.

Beyond advisory and pre-contentious construction work, Yuen Phing advises on a wide range of project development documents. She has drafted and negotiated key project agreements — including concession agreements, EPC contracts and interface arrangements — ensuring legal frameworks are tailored to project-specific risks, financing requirements and commercial objectives. Her sector experience includes oil and gas, energy, utilities and infrastructure, where she supports sponsors, developers and government entities in structuring projects to balance risk allocation and funding considerations effectively.

"Yuen Phing Choo deserves special mention for her excellent technical expertise, commercial approach, and service delivery throughout our projects."
