Ali Auda


Ali is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team and is based in our London office.

Ali is a senior lawyer with over 9 years of experience of advising clients globally and domestically, focusing on the resolution of construction & engineering disputes in all forms of dispute resolution, including adjudication, mediation, litigation and arbitration (both international and domestic).  

Ali has recently represented a major Gulf contractor in a dispute involving a significant project in the western region of Saudi Arabia.  He provided continuous strategic advice over the course of circa. 4 years which led to the successful settlement of several disputes valued in excess of SAR 5 billion, thus avoiding the need for arbitration altogether.

Ali has gained significant experience in various sectors including transportation (including airport and roads), power plant, energy and oil & gas and general infrastructure projects.  In doing so, he has worked with a variety of standard forms including FIDIC, JCT, IChemE and bespoke agreements including EPC and O&M agreements.  

Ali has been recognised as a Key Lawyer for International Arbitration by Legal 500, reflecting the trust placed in him by clients.
