Our next Trowers Tuesday session has been scheduled an hour earlier at 10:30am on 28 July. We will be continuing our Maximising Inclusivity month with Rebecca McGuirk and guest speaker Mike Adams, CEO of Purple, an organisation which is changing the disability conversation.
We will take a look at disability inclusivity and what employers can do to support disabled people both in the workplace and working from home.
With over 100 business members, Purple provide outside support on issues ranging for the attraction, recruitment and retention of disabled talent, improving the customer experience of disabled people and, increasingly, online accessibility including organisation’s websites. Purple also work with over 4,500 disabled people to ensure they receive services enabling them to employ the care they need to live independently.
Mike was awarded an OBE in 2012 for his services to disability.
