Ashley is a Legal Director in the Projects and Construction team. He is based in our Birmingham office.

Ashley is a Legal Director in the Projects and Construction team. He provides commercial and practical advice on a range of construction, engineering and infrastructure projects and has acted for a  wide range of public sector and private organisations, including contractors, developers, end-users, funders, and technology owners. Ashley was previously in-house counsel for one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe and therefore is perfectly positioned to provide clients with advice that helps them achieve their goals. 

Ashley is able to help clients draft bespoke EPC and O&M contracts and also advise them on standard forms of contract, including FIDIC, JCT and NEC. 

With experience and technical knowledge in a variety of sectors, Ashley can help clients deliver construction and infrastructure projects in a safe, timely and cost effective way. His energy specific knowledge includes nuclear, solar and energy from waste. Away from energy, Ashley regular assists clients in the industrial and logistics sector and corporate occupier clients with their real estate needs.  

Ashley always finds it deeply rewarding to see projects come to fruition—whether it’s a new nuclear energy development, a revitalised town centre, or a strategic port—and know that he played a part in bringing them to life and contributing to their success.
