Amar Mehta
Amar is a Solicitor in our Corporate Commercial department in our Birmingham office.
Amar's experience includes working on M&A transactions both in the private and public sector. Shareholder agreements, asset purchases and disposals, company restructuring and general commercial matters such as commercial contracts, franchise agreements, option agreements and terms and conditions. While at Trowers he has undertaken work related to company secretarial, owner managed businesses and corporate governance matters.
He is a dual qualified Solicitor with experience gained in mergers & acquisitions, corporate and commercial law. Before relocating to the UK, Amar had been practising law in the East Africa region for fourteen years, this has enabled him gain a wealth of experience in the EMEA region and represented a wide range of clients both local and international entailing cross-border investment and acting for private equity funds.
