Helen Fysh

Helen advises lenders and borrowers on all facets of real estate finance, including operating real estate and healthcare. Helen has specialist experience in advising lenders on the preparation of bank standard form documentation, including the incorporation of AI and technology into their ways of working and advising banks on policies and procedures for legal risk management.  Helen has experience working across a range of sectors including PBSA, build to rent, logistics, healthcare and mixed use developments. She acts for borrowers investing via onshore and offshore structures, and for both senior and mezzanine lenders providing conventional and Islamic finance. Recent experience includes advising Ahli United Bank (now KFH plc) on its conversion from a conventional bank to a fully compliant Islamic bank; coordinating with bank stakeholders, the Trowers team of Real Estate, Corporate, Dispute Resolution and Tax experts across the UK as well as assistance from colleagues in Trowers' Oman and Kuala Lumpur offices. Helen leads our London Social Impact programme, working in partnership with organisations including The Felix Project, Local Village Network and GROW Mentoring to help Trowers to further its long-standing commitment to making a positive impact on our local communities. Helen is a key member of the team who developed our award winning internal work experience programme, Trowers Horizons, working in partnership with some of our key clients to provide hands-on experience and confidence-building opportunities to NEETS referred to us by client organisations.
