Rahul Sagar

Rahul helps clients structure and deploy capital across a wide range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, from origination and acquisition through to refinancing and exit. His practice combines conventional lending with structured and hybrid capital solutions, particularly where transactions require a more bespoke approach than traditional senior debt. He has particular expertise in private credit and asset-backed financing, including loan-on-loan and other back-leverage structures, warehouse facilities, forward flow arrangements and private securitisations. He also advises on real estate and development finance, fund and portfolio-level financing, mezzanine and holdco debt, preferred equity and other structured capital solutions. Rahul previously worked in-house at PIMCO, one of the world's largest asset managers, and has also practised at a Magic Circle law firm. His time in-house means he understands transactions from both sides of the table and brings that perspective to his work.
