Brian Hitchcock
Brian is a Partner in the Projects and Construction team and is based in our Exeter office.
He is an experienced construction and projects lawyer who acts for developers, institutions, contractors and construction consultants. He is admitted to practise in both the UK and Hong Kong and has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, including as a civil engineer and contracts manager on large-scale public/private sector projects in the UK, East and Southeast Asia.
Brian has particular expertise in advising on contracting strategy and dispute avoidance under the NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, MF/1, PPC, ESA and JCT forms of contract along with bespoke EPC, O&M, development and framework agreements.
He is known for his work in the real estate sector as well as helping to deliver major infrastructure projects for central and local government, NHS Trusts and energy clients in the UK and abroad.
