International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised Silah Gulf B.S.C. on its acquisition of Invita W.L.L. from the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait B.S.C.

Established in 2005, Invita is a specialised on-demand customer relationship management and business process outsourcing company. Using state-of-the-art technology, it provides business process outsourcing, on-demand contact-centre and customer relationship management services, as well as consultancy and training services.

Silah is a leading, multi-award-winning Bahrain-headquartered customer experience and business process outsourcing company. It operates in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, providing contact-centre operations, business process management, customer experience technology and advisory services.

Trowers acted as lead counsel to Silah, advising on all legal aspects of the acquisition, including transaction structuring, legal due diligence, negotiation and documentation of the share purchase agreement and associated transaction documents, and regulatory and corporate matters relating to completion.

Geoff Allen, Partner in the International Corporate and Commercial team at Trowers & Hamlins, said:

"We are delighted to have supported Silah on this strategic acquisition, which represents a significant step in Silah's strategy to expand its customer experience and business process outsourcing capabilities. This deal further strengthens Silah's position in Bahrain and the wider GCC market following its successful IPO on the Bahrain Bourse in February this year. The transaction required close collaboration across multiple stakeholders, and it was a pleasure to work alongside the Silah deal team on this important mandate."

The Trowers team was led by Geoff Allen, supported by Legal Director Saerim Kim and Associate Cheryl Yee.
