Trowers advises on sale of 4D Data Centres


Top 40 law firm Trowers & Hamlins has advised four individual sellers on the sale of their shares in 4D Data Centres Limited to UK managed services provider Redcentric in a deal worth £11,000,000.

4D Data Centres is a UK based infrastructure management provider that has award-winning IT infrastructure and services including colocation, cloud, ultra-fast connectivity and cyber security.

4D operates a 6,500 sq ft (603 sqm), 1MW data center in Byfleet, Surrey that opened in 2008, as well as a 10,000 sq ft (929 sqm), 3MW facility in Crawley, West Sussex it acquired from BT in 2016. The company also leases space in a Telehouse facility in London and a Custodian facility in Maidstone, Kent.

Trowers advised the four sellers on the terms of the share purchase agreement as well as the ancillary documents while project managing the transaction.
