On Tuesday 28 April we marked World Day for Safety and Health at Work, with a session focused on managing workplace risk and protecting employee wellbeing.

We explored how employers can identify and manage risks to employee health, including work related stress, and the steps organisations should be taking to meet their legal duties. The session covered practical risk management strategies; effective policies and procedures; proactive approaches to supporting employees; and reducing the risk of complaints, claims and enforcement action.

Rebecca McGuirk was joined by Laura Welchew and Luke Deal, where they shared practical guidance to help HR teams and managers approach health and safety, wellbeing and risk management in a structured and proportionate way.
