On the 14 April we turned our attention to the Government’s forthcoming reforms to trade union law, collective bargaining structures and enhanced enforcement mechanisms. Changes that are set to reshape the landscape for employers across all sectors.

With commitments to strengthen collective rights, revisions to ballot thresholds, potential repeal of elements of the Strikes Act 2023, and a recalibration of the balance of power in industrial relations, employers will need to prepare carefully for greater scrutiny, more structured engagement and new compliance duties.
