How can we help you?

We are delighted to invite you to the first of our employment-related seminars on 7 December, 9:30 am - 10:30 am. Join employment lawyers from Trowers & Hamlins for a discussion on harassment and sexual harassment in the workplace, the complexities of banter, and how to change your workplace culture for the better.

The Trowers employment team help organisations and businesses manage change, encourages businesses to become employers of the future and support them to develop effective people strategies.

High profile cases are often reported in industry and national news, and claims for harassment are particularly common after Christmas party season, so now is a great time to understand and address the pit falls.

We'll discuss:

  • what harassment is,
  • how you can prevent and address it,
  • when banter and joking around in the workplace can go too far
  • and what the consequences might be when it does.

We hope that you will leave the session well informed, and with some top tips on how to avoid harassment in your workplace. We'll also be discussing some real examples to help illustrate the kind of situation where banter goes too far. The session promises to be interactive and informal, and you should feel free to ask any questions you might have on the topic.

We look forward to seeing you there.
