How can we help you?

Bringing together some of the latest know-how on topical issues in the development world, we invite you to join us and others from across the sector for our next development update.

New date: Due to unforeseen circumstances we are going to postpone this event to 9 December.

Below are the topics that will be covered in the seminar:

MMC: Update and key considerations for property charging. Hannah Jackson, Partner at Trowers & Hamlins

Planning: We will explore the implications of the recent High Court case which considered whether dwellings need be subject to legally binding S106 affordable housing obligations in order to be eligible for CIL social housing relief. The decision has major implications for house builders, local authorities and registered providers. Rory Stracey, Partner at Trowers & Hamlins

Cranbrook: The experience with bringing forward a major development programme in the west of East Devon, including the new community of Cranbrook and an Enterprise Zone designation, over the past 10 years. This will include considering the lessons learned and how these might be applied in the context of the current Local Plan review. Andrew Wood, Service Lead - Growth, Development and Prosperity at East Devon District Council.
