Domestic abuse is a subject that many employers are concerned about, especially as the number of victims has increased in the last year during the pandemic.
Next week we are lucky to be joined by Christine Losecaat MBE, the Chair of Advance, a charity supporting those who suffer domestic violence, who alongside Nicola Ihnatowicz will answer your questions on:
- what domestic abuse, coercive control and economic abuse is
- how the proposed Domestic Abuse Act will change things
- what employers should and can do to support employees who might be abused
- how to deal with the tricky problem of what employers should do if they employ an abuser
