How can we help you?

Environment, health and safety training

Board directors, senior management teams and operations team members, as well as other employees, can be faced with site visits from environmental and health & safety (EHS) regulators and involved in making decisions after incidents.

Management of face to face and written communications, as well as information gathering, document management and interaction with third parties, is crucial in these situations.

Our training provides a basic understanding of the key legal risks and sanctions, encourages open discussion of lessons learned from incidents in a safe environment and helps planning for risk management in future scenarios.

We work with client teams to tailor training topics to individual clients and their sectors.

Previous training sessions that have been repeated for listed and other clients in the public and private sector have covered EHS topics including:

  1.  An overview of key environmental and health and safety risks and sanctions;

  2. Roles of Regulators;

  3. Practical issues and privilege;

  4. Document and communications management;

  5. Introduction to interviews under caution;

  6. Practical exercise – scenario; consideration of likely questions; identification of potential changes; and interview under caution; and

  7. Learning points on interaction with regulators.
