Kanhai Srivastava


Kanhai is a Senior Associate in the international construction team and is based in Abu Dhabi.

Kanhai is a non-contentious construction lawyer with over 10 years of work experience. He supports the firms International Construction and Projects, Energy and Infrastructure practice across the GCC member countries. He has in-depth knowledge and vast experience in dealing with multilateral institutions (including IFC and ADB), government authorities, sponsors, developers, financial institutions and contractors on the development of complex and high value projects internationally.

Prior to joining Trowers, Kanhai was an in-house lawyer leading the development of over 2.5 GW of renewable energy projects in India for a US based renewable energy company.

Kanhai previously worked in a leading Indian law firm where he advised on a number of landmark international and domestic infrastruture projects and has significant experience in the utility sector including renewable energy, thermal energy, water desalinisation plants, district cooling systems, transportation sector including expressways, airports (both greenfield and brownfield, sea ports, social infrastructure including five star hotels and hospitals and city size development projects.
