Anamitra Mukhopadhyay


Anamitra is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial department and is based in our London office.

Anamitra has experience acting for a variety of clients (including insolvency practitioners, directors and lenders) in both contentious and non-contentious matters. Anamitra's experience includes:

  • advising companies (acting by their board of directors) in relation to their fiduciary duties in an insolvency context;
  • facilitating the appointment of insolvency practioners on behalf of companies, directors and floating charge holders (both out of court and via court);
  • facilitating the sale of financially distressed companies via insolvency practitioners (acting for both the insolvent entity (via insolvency practitioners) and buyer;
  • advising insolvency practitioners and directors in respect of investigations surrounding antecedent transactions in an insolvency context; and
  • advising lenders as regards enforcement options including the validity of their security/debenture.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Anamitra is a keen writer and has contributed to publications including LexisNexis and Lexology. Anamitra also regualrly contributes to Trowers' Quarterly News Bulletin (comprising recent legal updates). 
  • Anamitra is a member of Turnaround Management Association (UK) "NextGen".
