Lara Hourihan


Lara has gained extensive experience working with affordable housing providers, charities, private developers and NHS trusts advising on all types of property matters.

She has experience working with mental health and alcohol recovery charities, acquiring and selling property for them and ensuring that the acquisition meets the needs of the client.

Lara has experience leading on complex land acquisitions and development transactions and has a good understanding of unusual title matters and undertaking title investigation work for various types of clients. She has also assisted on stock rationalisation projects, ground rent sales and TOGC transactions involving care homes.

Lara also works on development finance transactions for public bodies and assists on complex forward funding transactions.

Lara is a commercial and pragmatic lawyer, always looking to achieve her client's goal expeditiously whilst highlighting issues early in a transaction.
