Sarah Jane Chia
Sarah is an Associate in Trowers & Hamlins' International department, which she joined in November 2018. She is based in our Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, office.
Sarah has experience in a range of corporate matters including advising clients on domestic and cross-border transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets. Sarah has assisted clients in the corporate structuring of investments into income-generating real estate, utilising vehicles such as real estate investment trusts. Sarah also advises on other aspects of corporate and commercial work including commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
Sarah has advised a range of clients, including governmental institutions, banks, fund managers and operating businesses, in various sectors including private equity, financial services, real estate development, telecommunications, healthcare, food & beverage, insurance, education and aviation.
