Dato' Kunal Chahl
Dato’ Kunal is a consultant based in Trowers & Hamlins’ Singapore office.
He is a Singapore citizen of Malaysian origin with more than 24 years of experience (legal practice and in-house) in cross-border corporate and commercial, banking and finance, debt and equity capital markets, M&A, private equity, private credit, private client, and investment management transactions within the Asia-Pacific region.
Dato’ Kunal has acted as an Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of a company listed on the Singapore Exchange, he has served as a legal advisor to family offices with operations in Asia and the Middle East, and he is a regular speaker and contributor at international events and seminars held by the Singapore Management University’s Wealth Management Faculty.
Dato’ Kunal also has expertise in public and private corporate governance in Singapore, as well as the legal, licensing, structural, and tax considerations for single and multi-family offices in Singapore.
