Villasha Anbalagan


Villasha Anbalagan is an Associate in the International Dispute Resolution and Litigation team and is based in our Malaysia office.

Villasha's practice focuses on commercial disputes, with experience in fraud and asset recovery, multi-jurisdictional litigation, and high-value commercial claims. She has experience supporting and coordinating cross-border litigation strategy across multiple jurisdictions. 

Villasha has acted for a range of clients including sovereign entities, sovereign investment funds, financial institutions, and corporations. Most notably, Villasha has acted for a Malaysian sovereign investment fund and related government entities in connection with the multi-billion-ringgit global asset recovery efforts arising from one of the most significant financial frauds in Malaysian history, including in civil onshore proceedings and international arbitration. 

Villasha is admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
