International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has bolstered its London team with the hire of new partner, Georgie Messent.

Georgie specialises in advising clients on all aspects of environmental law, including the regulation driving transformation to net-zero carbon emissions. She has extensive experience in advising on ESG corporate reporting, carbon regulation and carbon trading, extended producer responsibility and all aspects of environmental regulatory and compliance issues relating to day-to-day operations, transactions and substantial litigation. 

A qualified solicitor with 27 years' experience, Georgie joins Trowers having previously been at Squire Patton Boggs and PwC.
