In celebration of Pride Month, International law firm Trowers & Hamlins launched a national campaign to champion diversity within the firm.

The LGBTQ+ network, a division of the firm's diversity programme 'Trowers Includes' launched the allies aspect of the network, marking the occasion with a nationwide pledge of support from staff. The network asked staff to sign their signatures on canvases at their London, Manchester, Exeter and Birmingham offices as unified demonstration of their support for diversity and inclusion across the firm.

Helen Randall, Partner and Trowers Champion of Diversity and Inclusion said:

"The signing of the canvases was a fun way of us celebrating Pride Month, but also showing that as a firm, we challenge discriminative behaviour and champion a diverse workforce. The LGBTQ+ network is open to everyone in the firm who wants to be involved in supporting diversity and not just those who identify as being LGBTQ+, and the campaign gave everybody the opportunity to take the time to celebrate together".

Other activities for the LGBTQ+ and Allies Network have included a group day out to join the Pride parade, a visit to Tate Britain to view the Queer British Art 1861-1967 exhibition, and volunteering at the Exeter Respect Festival.

There are further 'Trowers Includes' activities and events planned for the autumn including a staff 'rainbow dress down' day.
