Over the last few years a number of key events have had a significant impact on the housing sector and the operation of RPs.

The Grenfell tragedy and Building Safety Bill has created a renewed focus on health and safety more broadly and shined a spotlight on the need for social housing residents to have a voice.

We could not have envisaged 18 months ago what a profound effect a global pandemic could have on our working practices. Even once 'normality' returns our way of working may have been permanently changed for better or worse. This is going to create challenges for RPs in managing their staff and their expectations, but also provides opportunities to embrace efficiencies in new ways of working.

For the next RP training day we are going to focus on these issues with detailed discussion from experts on:

  • Health & Safety with a particular focus on building safety generally – Rebecca Rees and Amanda Stubbs
  • The impact of the white paper/tenants charter – Ian Davis and Darren Hooker
  • How workplaces will, and will be expected to, change going forward – Emma Burrows
  • Board impacts – Sharron Webster

This session will be recorded and made available after the webinar. To see the full details of how the data is managed, please see our fair processing notice.
