In what has been an inconceivable year for all of us and with the promise of life returning to a new sense of normal with the roll-out of a national vaccine, we take this opportunity to take a detailed look at the role of local authorities and public bodies in shaping the post-pandemic recovery.

We will be running six bitesize sessions over two days, focussing on post-pandemic recovery and resilience in local government and local communities and the post 2020 landscape. By registering you can dip in and out of sessions of your choosing.

As progress is slowly being made on a UK/EU trade deal, what might a domestic public subsidy (state aid) framework for local government look like?
