Meera has extensive experience in advising and representing clients in complex and high-value disputes ranging from general Commercial Litigation through to arbitrations and international disputes in different jurisdictions across the world. Meera has acted for both businesses and private individuals in litigious and advisory matters including contractual and shareholder disputes, charities, and disputes emanating from private wealth, trusts and estates. Meera has particular expertise in fraud and dishonesty claims, including in freezing and tracing assets and in group action litigation. Meera's recent experience includes: - being the lead associate in a hard fought £45 million group fraud action which culminated in a successful 10 week trial in the Commercial Court and also included a successful application at the Court of Appeal regarding reducing the fortification awarded to the defendants in a freezing injunction and defending an application to discharge three applications to discharge worldwide freezing orders; - being the lead associate in an ongoing multi billion dollar cross border trust dispute; and - assisting in shareholder disputes resulting in a 5 week trial in the High Court.
