Samantha Martin


Samantha is a Senior Associate in the international construction disputes team and is based in our Dubai office.

Samantha has been practicing in the Middle East since 2015 and specializes in complex, high-value, multi-jurisdiction construction and engineering disputes under all the main arbitral institutions, including ICC, DIAC and LCIA.

Samantha has acted for developers, contractors, subcontractors, engineering companies and consultants in relation to both standard form (FIDIC and EPC) and bespoke construction contracts on a variety of construction projects, including major government and transport infrastructure, mixed-use residential and commercial developments, major landmarks, museums and universities.

During her practice in the Middle East, Samantha has also completed two full-time secondments (2021 and 2024) with a leading UAE real-estate developer that has constructed some of the most iconic residential, hospitality and mixed-use residential and commercial projects in the UAE.

Samantha has been recognised as a Legal 500 'Recommended Lawyer' for Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and International Litigation within the Legal 500 EMEA 2024 Guide. She was also shortlisted for: 

  • "Arbitration Lawyer of the Year" at the LexisNexis Middle East Women in Law Awards 2025.
  • "Litigator of the Year" at the LexisNexis Middle East Women in Law Awards 2025.
  • "Private Practice Lawyer of the Year" at the LexisNexis Middle East Women in Law Awards 2025.
