Lauren Mason-Smith
Lauren acts for registered providers in all aspects of property charging and refinancing work, including undertaking property due diligence and preparing and negotiating certificates of title.
Lauren works on charging and refinancing large portfolios of properties to secure housing finance, often to tight timescales. She deals with high value property transactions including bond issues, private placements as well as traditional bank lending, often via a security trust and has been involved in the due diligence exercises associated with mergers and restructuring transactions.
Lauren also has experience of site acquisitions for both registered providers and other developer clients as well as site setups, whether that be for open market sale, shared ownership or social/affordable rent.
