James Huckstep


James acts for a wide variety of clients including banks, hotel developers/operators, housing developers, consultants, energy companies and local authorities.

James specialises in and advises clients on procurement strategy, and the drafting and negotiation of construction documents including building contracts, consultant appointments, bonds and guarantees, framework agreements, and development and funding agreements.

Over the last year, James has advised clients on projects ranging from the development of retirement homes in a number of locations in England, the building of hotels in London, the construction of an LNG regasification terminal in South America, the drafting of a suite of building contracts based on the JCT forms for a local authority and a regeneration project for a London Borough.

James is a member of the Society of Construction Law.
