Eleanor Clot is a second seat trainee solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins' International Corporate and International Real Estate departments based in the firm's Bahrain office.
Eleanor completed her first seat in the Employment department in London, collaborating across the firm's UK offices on a range of employment matters including termination negotiations, investigations, GDPR, redundancy, unfair dismissal and discrimination claims. Eleanor's contentious work involved supporting the department's defence of numerous claims in both the Employment Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
Eleanor now works on a range of international corporate matters predominantly commercial contracts, joint ventures and fund formation and her international real estate work focuses on development and landlord and tenant issues.
Prior to joining Trowers & Hamlins, Eleanor spent 7 years in the drone industry advising on drone regulations and is the lead co-author of "A Practical Guide to Drone Law," a book designed to navigate the rapidly developing legal and regulatory landscape governing both commercial and recreational drone use. Eleanor draws on her specialist drone background to support the firm's aviation team.
