Paul Batchelor

Paul is a partner in the Corporate department and is based in our Birmingham office. 

Paul brings more than 20 years' experience advising business owners, private equity investors and corporate groups on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, restructurings and strategic growth projects.

Paul advises business owners, management teams, private equity investors and corporate groups on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and group restructurings. He has handled transactions from £5 million to over £100 million and has particular experience of deals involving private equity-backed growth platforms.

His experience spans a range of sectors including health and social care, industrials, technology, telecoms, leisure and support services and regulated gaming.

Paul also has significant experience of complex solvent restructurings, working alongside tax specialists for high net worth family offices and international corporate groups. He regularly advises property developers on the corporate aspects of large-scale mixed-use schemes, including joint ventures with institutional investors and local authorities.
