Debby Burton-Shaw is a Consultant in Trowers & Hamlins’ UAE practice which she joined in 2004.
Debby specialises in commercial law and regulatory law and is regularly involved in advising Government departments in the UAE and across the Middle East. Debby also advises on the employment laws of the United Arab Emirates and on the employment regulations of the Abu Dhabi and Dubai free zones. She regularly advises on UAE employment contracts, including how expat employment contracts sit within the UAE federal law and the regulations of the free zones, the termination of employment contracts, severance pay and the enforceability of restrictive covenants
