Reem Al Mahrizi
Reem is an Associate in the International Projects, Energy and Infrastructure department of Trowers & Hamlins based in Oman.
Reem has experience advising on a wide range of international projects, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sector. She has advised sponsors, lenders, and governments on the development, financing, and operation of various projects across the power, water, oil and gas, waste management, and renewable industries.
Reem also has experience in energy projects involving innovative structures, including advising on Oman's first integrated LNG and solar facility, pioneering BESS projects in Palestine with World Bank - backed security structures, and the world's largest rooftop solar installation in Bahrain. She regularly reviews and advises on Power Purchase Agreements, Water Purchase Agreements, and other project agreements.
Reem also has extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters including company formations, corporate governance, and various other general commercial matters. She has acted as company secretary for public joint stock companies and regularly advises clients on corporate structuring and entity selection in Oman.
In addition to her energy and corporate work, Reem advises on employment law matters, including regulatory compliance issues.
Reem is an Omani qualified lawyer, and a native Arabic speaker.
