How can we help you?

Top 40 law firm Trowers & Hamlins was named 'law firm of the year' at the fourth annual North West Residential Property Awards held in Manchester on 24th January 2019.

A number of other landmark schemes, along with the architecture firms, advisers and agents which made them a reality, were in the spotlight during the ceremony at EventCity.

The firm was commended by the judges for their broad work across the North West region and for demonstrating that they are 'not afraid to take on complex projects'.

The highlight for the team last year was securing reappointment to the legal services panel for Homes England for the next four years both in terms of their importance to us a client and also the wider value this role brings to work we do in helping our clients unlock challenging schemes. The team also highlighted success in their large scale residential projects including: advising on the Greater Manchester Pension Fund's support for the Circle Square scheme, supporting the GM Housing Providers' innovative joint venture and working with Rowlinson Construction on their Bowes Street scheme.

"We are delighted to have received this award. It highlights the hard work that our real estate team in Manchester have put into growing and developing our expertise across the North West region. Some of the projects that we have been working on have been extremely rewarding and it is fantastic that it is being recognised across the sector in terms of the level of expertise we can bring to our clients. Thank you to the Insider awards for a brilliant evening, where we were able to meet and network with other businesses and a huge congratulations to all involved in this achievement."

Addressing the audience, Insider's editorial director Miri Thomas stressed the importance of quality of life when it comes to driving growth in the region's cities. "Whether it’s a luxury apartment in a city centre tower, a house on a leafy garden village development, or a modern townhouse on the urban fringes, creating communities is inherent in what you do. You are building something that people will be proud to call home."
