International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has appointed Paul Bartter and Assad Maqbool as Co-Heads of its Projects and Construction team, succeeding Stephanie Canham, who led the team for 13 years.
Stephanie has led the practice through a period of sustained growth and transformation, expanding the national team from 33 to more than 60 lawyers, broadening its regional and international reach. Stephanie remains as a senior Partner at the firm and will continue to play a central role in the Projects and Construction team, focusing on key client relationships and projects.
Paul and Assad take on leadership of one of the UK’s largest project-based construction teams, with the ambition to build on its strong foundations while accelerating growth across priority sectors and regions.
Paul Bartter, Co-Head of Projects and Construction, said:
