Trowers & Hamlins to take part in Early Career Immersion Week 2021

International law firm Trowers & Hamlins will be taking part in the Early Career Immersion Week for the second consecutive year. Alongside a group of large UK organisations, the virtual event aids students with making informed decisions about their prospective careers.

The businesses involved come from a wide range of sectors, including banking, investment, policing, law and technology. The other organisations participating in the Early Career Immersion Week include NatWest Group, KPMG, BT Group, UK Civil Service, Facebook, Metropolitan Police, CBRE and Healthcare professionals (specifically Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy).

The event is targeted at students from disadvantaged backgrounds and offers a unique insight into a day in the life of each industry or profession. Each immersion group provides an insight into what schemes are available, how to make a strong application, what career trajectories look like; and students also hear from recent graduates and apprentices who talk through their journey so far.

Navinder Grover, partner and representative for Trowers on the scheme commented:

"We are proud to once again be taking part in the Early Career Immersion Week. The event is one that can be truly beneficial and gives those from under-represented backgrounds the chance to learn from some of the largest organisations in the UK."

Trowers' session will be on 19 October from 5pm-6pm. Sign up here.
