On Tuesday 12 May, we explored the introduction of the Fair Work Agency and what it means for employers.
The new Agency will bring together enforcement of key employment rights under a single body, marking a significant shift in the regulatory landscape. We looked at its proposed role and powers, and the areas it is expected to focus on. We also considered how this may change the way employment rights are monitored and enforced in practice.
Rebecca McGuirk was joined by Laura Welchew and Anna Scott where they explored the steps employers should be taking now, including reviewing internal processes, ensuring compliance across key areas, and preparing for increased scrutiny and enforcement activity.
