How can we help you?

It's that time of year again and we're delighted to have kicked off our (ever-popular!) 'Summer of Inclusivity' on 23 June.

We've planned an exciting schedule of inclusion-focused topics to lead us into the summer holidays and, as always, we'd love to see you there. In each session, we'll be sharing legal insights and thought leadership on how employers can support their employees meaningfully and create a truly inclusive culture. We'll also be welcoming some fantastic guest speakers along the way, who will be sharing their expertise and practical experience.

For our first session, we explored what positive action means in practice, when it can be used lawfully, and the opportunities it presents for improving diversity and inclusion within recruitment processes. The session also considered the boundaries between positive action and unlawful discrimination, alongside practical steps employers can take to design fair and inclusive recruitment strategies.

Laura Welchew was joined by Tom Stephenson and Jennifer Barnett, where they discussed how employers can navigate this area to identify what matters most to their organisation and how they can support individuals to develop and thrive.
