Series three - Devon Environment Foundation
In this interview, Stuart meets with Amanda Keetley, Executive Director of Devon Environment Foundation (DEF) who have recently launched a partnership with Trowers & Hamlins to collaborate and support hands-on, grassroots nature restoration in the UK. The Devon Environment Foundation is an inspiring organisation which works to protect and restore nature across Devon, guided by a clear ambition to support the recovery of at least 30% of the county's land and water by 2030. It's focus is deliberately practical, DEF supports small, grassroots projects that deliver tangible restoration outcomes but often struggle to access flexible funding. Amanda is an environmentalist and marketing expert with a wealth of experience and knowledge in strategy and communications and a passion for sustainability.
The interview between Stuart and Amanda explores her empowering story which led to the launch of Devon Environment Foundation and her campaign to reduce plastic pollution and focus on the regeneration of nature.
