It's that time of year again and we're delighted to be kicking off our (ever-popular!) 'Summer of Inclusivity' next week.
We've planned an exciting schedule of inclusion-focused topics to lead us into the summer holidays and, as always, we'd love to see you there. In each session, we'll be sharing legal insights and thought leadership on how employers can support their employees meaningfully and create a truly inclusive culture. We'll also be welcoming some fantastic guest speakers along the way, who will be sharing their expertise and practical experience.
For our first session, we'll explore what positive action means in practice, when it can be used lawfully, and the opportunities it presents for improving diversity and inclusion within recruitment processes. The session will also consider the boundaries between positive action and unlawful discrimination, alongside practical steps employers can take to design fair and inclusive recruitment strategies.
Laura Welchew will be joined by Tom Stephenson and Jennifer Barnett to discuss how employers can navigate this area to identify what matters most to their organisation and how they can support individuals to develop and thrive.
You'll have the opportunity to submit questions in advance or ask your burning questions live during the session. We look forward to seeing you for a lively and engaging conversation!
