How can we help you?

Retraining, upskilling and the ageing workforce.

The number of employees aged over 65 has been steadily increasing over the past thirty years. This brings opportunities for employers of all shapes and sizes.

John Turnbull and Stephanie Taylor will be joined by James Gill, Head of Agency Development and Market Education at LinkedIn, to provide insight into how employers can engage and retain older employees. They'll be discussing positive action, upskilling, reverse mentoring and age irrelevance. Offering opportunities for individuals to re-train can be an effective way of ensuring older employees are supported and engaged in the workplace, particularly in a digital age. They will also be looking at examples of age discrimination.

As always, you'll have the opportunity to ask the panel your burning questions in advance of the session or live during the discussion itself.
