Though enacted in in April 2022 most of the Subsidy Control Act (together with statutory guidance and regulations) only comes into force on the 4th January 2023. This signals major changes for the public, private and third sectors. This session focuses on the practical steps you need to have in place for the 4th January.

During the webinar we will be covering the following topics: 

  • Subsidy awards – making safe decisions and record keeping;
  • The relevance of Subsidy Statutory Guidance in decision making;
  • Minimal Final Assistance – getting your paperwork ready;
  • Housing keeping – updating policies and grant programmes;
  • Subsidy referrals to the Competition and Markets Authority (when and how);
  • New subsidy database requirements;
  • Case studies
