Jake is a Solicitor in Trowers & Hamlins' Employment and Pensions department, based in our Birmingham office.
Jake has advised on both contentious and non-contentious aspects of employment law including assisting with unfair dismissal claims, discrimination and equal pay claims and reviewing and preparing service agreements at all levels of seniority. Jake is able to support clients with sensitive employee relations issues and day-to-day enquires such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, drafting bespoke HR policies and staff handbooks, absence management and preparing and negotiating COT3 and settlement agreements.
Jake can also assist with strategic projects such as redundancy consultations, changes to terms and conditions, TUPE transactions and provides corporate support in relation to mergers and acquisitions.
Jake also delivers tailored training sessions to HR professionals and clients regularly contributes to webinars covering a wide range of issues. Jake is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
