Helena Wade


Helena is an Associate in the Projects and Construction department based in London, having trained at the firm.

Helena specialises in non-contentious construction matters, advising developers and employer clients, particularly in the private and hotel and leisure sectors, on residential and commercial projects. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating industry standard forms (such as the JCT) as well as bespoke construction contracts, development agreements, collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees, and professional appointments.

Helena also has experience assisting with the construction due diligence elements of real estate and corporate portfolio sales for purchasers, sellers and funders, reviewing construction documentation and advising on construction-related risks and liabilities. She has experience advising on negotiating construction obligations in agreements for lease, including pre-lets and fitting out works, ensuring appropriate protection is in place for both landlords and tenants.
